Nothing like a good pizza place for happy hour on a Friday with friends! The 2 bottles of wine we brought made the leisurely service a little more tolerable. But aside from that, the pizza was excellent! The crust was probably my favorite part of the pizza (score = 5). It was thin but still had the consistency of dough - with a light, buttery, flakiness that was yummy! The sauce was OK (score =3) but nothing really special.
Of course, 
I had the pepperoni pizza, but thanks to my friends I also got to try the Margherita, wild mushroom, broccoli rabe/sausage, and veggie. I would not have expected this, but I really like the veggie pizza. It had small chopped veggies with a pesto sauce instead of the traditional tomato sauce. The wild mushroom pizza (a specialty of the place) was described as "smoky" and "earthy" but may have been better as a white pizza. The mozzarella cheese on the Margherita pizza was a little tasteless and needed extra salt, even though it was homemade. Overall, I would give this place a 4.5, mostly because of the crust and the variety of pizza available that were all pretty good. The only reason that I won't give a score of 5 is that we wanted to get the dessert pizza to top off the meal, but it was going to take too long to make, so we had to settle for Fruity Yogurt on the way home instead :). We might have to give this place an encore visit just for the dessert and the $5 large cheese special!!
